Performing Personal Hygiene In The Office

I just read about a woman who asked that she be moved to a different cubicle at work because the co-worker she was sitting next to insisted on clipping his toe nails at his desk.  Yuck!

I can’t imagine someone doing that.   In what world is clipping your nails at work a step on the pathway towards advancement?  I can’t even imagine taking my shoes off at work.  No one ought to be doing that … unless you have a job at the pool or beach..

A survey of workplace pet peeves that was released this week shows nearly half of those surveyed are offended when people clip or bite their nails at work.

Isn’t it amazing that this is such a problem that experts found it worthy of a survey

Does anyone in your office do something offensive like … well … any kind of personal hygiene … while sitting at his or her desk?  If so, I’d love to hear about it.
