Driving around and scoping out Christmas lights is one of our favorite Christmas traditions - so we compiled a list of the best neighborhood/house lights in Indianapolis! Whether you're on the North Side, South Side, or anywhere in-between, you'll find crazy awesome lights somewhere near!

The Christmas Tree House in Greenwood Indiana

With 86 Christmas trees inside of their home, each one decorated with it’s own color or theme, Brandon Smith and Dennis Guyette don’t have to heat their home during the month of December.

Their home is open to the public every night December 1st – December 24th from 6-10pm. Admission is free but you are welcome to make a donation which goes to Riley Hospital.

Hot Tip: Weekends are very busy, so try to stop in on a week night. The week before Christmas is also the busiest week to visit


Oak Meadows subdivision in Greenwood

(just off Averitt Road, about halfway between Smith Valley Road and Main Street) – Neighborhood trees are lit and most homes are decorated. Drive through the neighborhood to see.

A listener tells us that visitors can control over 15,000 computer animated lights synchronized to music from their smartphones while watching the interactive show! The home features a 20’ video  wall Christmas Tree, talking characters and many other lighted features all synchronized to music on the Mathieu family lawn in the spirit of Christmas. Shows run from 5:45-10:30pm weekdays and until 11:30pm Friday-Sunday.
