DIVISION 1

Creekside Cougar Choir

Director: Terra Bell | 52 members | Franklin, Indiana

ABOUT:

The Creekside Cougar Choir is an extra-curricular group of 4th grade singers.  This is the very first year for these students to sing in a choir and they are doing an outstanding job so far this year!  The Cougar Choir represents Creekside Elementary School by performing at various school and community events.  This is Creekside's first time to enter the B105.7 Christmas Choir Competition, and the whole school is so excited about this event!

What they would do with their $2,000 courtesy of Franciscan Health:

With the extra money, the Creekside Cougar Choir would have the opportunity to purchase new stage equipment, instruments, and uniforms for seasonal performances.  With these items, the Cougar Choir would be in a position to thrive and make a greater impact upon the lives of those who participate as well as the lives of those who attend the performances.  The Cougar Choir strongly believes that an early introduction to the performing arts is a building block for life-long learning – it helps to build social skills, community involvement, and enhances academic skills. Therefore, the B105.7 Christmas Choir Competition is an excellent opportunity to benefit the Creekside students, the Franklin Community School Corporation, and the community of Franklin, Indiana!

Hoosier Road Elementary Choir
