10 Things Americans Have Stopped Buying

Cereal

In the most recent 4 week period, cereal sales were down 7%.

Soda/Pop

We're drinking more energy drinks and flavored water.

Gum

Gum sales are down 11% over the last 4 years.  We are, however buying more mints than ever before.

Cupcakes

This trend is over.  I never liked it.  I want an actual cake. not a cupcake.

See what else we've stopped buying here.

What about you?  Have you stopped buying anything on the list?

I've stopped buying bottled water over the last year.  I got a filter for my sink.  Tastes just as good...better for my wallet and better for the environment.
