Science: How To Be Happy

Was just reading about this study that came up with a "Happiness Equation."

Bottom line: happiness is all about managing your expectations.

The "equation" shows that people are happiest when things go better than expected...

Looking forward to happy hour with friends, finding a great parking spot, having a typically cranky child sleep an extra hour -- anytime life exceeds your expectations, you're happy.

On the flip side.. if your happy hour appetizers are gross, if traffic terrible, etc...the disappointment can quickly sour a good mood.

So is the key to happiness having lowered expectations?  Read what researchers say here.
