This Back To School Tradition Is Dying

Can you believe school starts in 1 week for some Indy area kids?

Back in my day (insert old man cough) we always started the week of the county fair, by god!

Also read this thing that said back to school shopping sprees are so passe..that parents spread out their spending. Again back in my day, mama bought all my pencils, papers, and new shoes in 1 trip to K-mark..and I liked it that way.

BTW.. that's not me in the picture above, but it sure does look a lot like me as a child.
