5 Products to Fight the Fur
As a pet owner, you know exactly how annoying animal hair can be. Whether it's on your floors, furniture or clothes, it's a never-ending battle.
But lucky for you (and me), there are some tips and tricks to maintain this furry fight.
When it comes to your four-legged friend, it's all about grooming and the diet. Just as you brush your own hair, your furry buddy needs a good comb through too. Giving your cat or dog a quick little brushing every day, will save time cleaning up the fur in the long run. Plus, for you cat lovers out there, less hairballs!
But don't forget it also matters what you put in your pet. Feeding your pet a high-quality nutritious diet can also help with shedding. Nutrition plays a HUGE role in the overall health of your pet's fur. Good, nourishing food will keep your furball's coat shiny and healthy, and can reduce the amount of dead fur they lose. It's a win-win, if you ask me.
Okay, so we touched a little on your cuddle buddy and how to attack the fur-pocolypse at the source, but some times they just shed. I mean, it is spring time. So how do we get rid of the fur that is all over the house?
Here's a few tried-and-true hair removal tools that are sure to put up a fight:
Okay so you may think these are more for cleaning toilets and bathtubs, buuuuuut rubber is a great fur catcher. Use this on furniture or clothes, and you'll see the fur being pulled right off those surfaces.
This is a no-brainer. It's inexpensive and super easy to use. These are definitely a go-to for small surfaces, but also clothes. Just swipe and go!
This is definitely a must-have as a pet parent. Think of this as a lint roller, but on steroids. This pretty much works like a duster, but it REALLY traps the hair, according to Rover. Use this on furniture or carpets, and you'll be fur-free in no time.
These are staples in doggy daycares, and put up a big fight for those animals with really long hair. This works on carpets, wood and tile flooring - so you're bound to be a fur-free household.
So this may be an obvious one, but vaccuums save lives for animal lovers. Although it may seem like an annoying chore - if you do it often, you'll be thankful in the long run.
