Got The Winter Blues? Drinking Wine May Help!

It’s that time of year again, the winter months after the holidays are over and your New Year’s resolutions have set in. Feeling a little blue during these months? Drinking wine (in moderation) may be the answer!

 

Many New Year's resolutions involve healthy eating, but don't forget about healthy drinking! According to VinePair, a study published in September revealed that those who follow the Mediterranean Diet, consisting of anti-inflammatory foods such as vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, seafood, olive oil, and moderate wine consumption, were less likely to be depressed. Wine Spectator reported that people who follow the Mediterranean Diet are 33% less likely to develop depressive symptoms or clinical depression.
