How to Make Every Disagreement a Healthy One

If you keep this one thing the focus, you two can disagree about almost anything while keeping the peace. 

That’s this week’s Tune Up Tuesday, a little nugget you can use to tune up your relationship every Tuesday morning around 8:15 on B105.7.

When you feel strongly about something, it can be easy to view your partner as something in the way of you getting what you want.  So, if your focus is on winning the disagreement, then your focus is not on connection… and that’s where it should be.  Your focus, even during disagreement should be on maintaining a positive connection with this person.  Imagine if for both of you, connection was the priority instead of being right or getting what you want… imagine how much smoother and more peaceful your disagreements might be.
