Love People Like You Never Know, Because You Don't
Above is a picture of my mom and this last weekend was the anniversary of her death. She passed away 17 years ago. At 34, I’ve now lived just as long without her as I did with her.. which is weird to think about.
I was given a great gift in that the night before she suddenly passed, I had dinner with her. As we were leaving the restaurant, I was walking to my car.. and something told me to stop, turn around, and go hug her. I did. We said “love you, see you later.” She passed the next day.
That was our last hug. Those were our last words. So, this week… love people like you never know, because you don’t.
